A problem with issue 117. Is it worth painting the wood of the vents before gluing the brass on or can I leave it until after gluing the brass parts on.

Haven't done so yet Baz

hi skyfire i built them up first added the brass then painted them.or you could choose not to paint them now, glue the finished parts to the hanger then spray them when you paint the hanger.

I was about to paint the wood and brass when noticed other parts have been added. See page 307 photo 04 and also page 318 photo 62. Hope that helps you make up your mind

(permission by Hachette) I wonder if there is a spare J on the plastic sprue issued in part 132 ? The other bits might be on the same sprue Just trying to find them by looking through the piccies on the Die Bismarck site to see how long I have to wait before painting (as well) as I am only at issue 119.
