I got myself a couple of 1/72 scale flower class corvettes off ebay and my dad and his mates who love the old black and white war films talked me into building one as the above so here we go.I ratched about and found this on youtube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1UQOcADnaY Finished hull. I'm using the GLS after market stuff for the decks and superstructure and guess what? Its mostly brass :'(At least at 1/72 scale when i drop bits on the carpet they'll be easier to find. This is the deck kit. This is the stuff i got today. Funnel and mast set, bridge set, stantions and ships boats.

Finished the 4"gun this week after spending most of my time ratching about on the carpet on my hands and knees.I HATE BRASS It'll look the part when its finished though Bridge set next and, hopefully, not as much foul language!

That looks very realistic. Hard to believe it's brass underneath that paint !

Cheers for the comments Mark. It actually took longer than i thought it would Revell and GLS are bringing out a short fcsle corvette next year so i'll have a bash at one of them as well. Here she is parked on top of my HMS Cumberland which i've just restarted after 'that' Winter.
