I have purchased normal Dulux interior paint, tinted according to the proper RAL colours, in 250ml sample pots (satin) from Mitre10 - they had to get guidance over the phone from Dulux though. Thinned with 20% water, this paint is excellent to use with the air gun. I just found out the hard way: Dulux paint obviously has a general problem when tinted with ocker. The ocker has a tendency to very quickly separate in the the paint (especially when diluted it happens within minutes), so it has to be mixed all the time in order to give a nice uniform coat. Very difficult to do when you spray paint. I discovered spots of the ocker when spray painting, and I had to sand back as a new coat of paint didn't want to stick to those spots. Looked a bit like painting a leopard Taubman paint (from Bunnings), which I used for the bottom of the hull, seems to be much better for spray painting, but it hasn't got the RAL numbers pre-programmed in the computer. So I painted samples with the Dulux RAL colours and had them optically matched with Taubman paint. My painting is now working fine again

No ads for me either Jim, sorry.
I don't have the courage or ability to put the stripes on the superstructure anyway!

Link works fine for me as well Jim. I've posted it on a separate thread so it's easy for people to find.
