Ok I thought the Painting thread is becoming a bit hard to find the relevant info. So for those that have painted their hull please can you state the Primer used (Name/Make) and where you bought it from. What Top Coat (Name/Make) and what you will give as your varnish coat (Name/Make) You can also state what other paints you will be using and where you are getting them from.
You can copy this if it helps:
Primer: Place Bought:
Top Coat: Place Bought:
Varnish/Finishing Coat: Place Bought:
DO NOT POST IF YOU HAVE NOT PAINTED YET. Just try and keep the thread to what you have used and if you have any questions post up in the Painting thread.

Hi AFK. NOt started yet but got my bits together, All from car accesory shops (not halfords they don't count anymore ) got me some tack rags they are great for shifting all the dust off your hull, some sanding sealer this from a model shop years ago) used for sealing the wood and some primer filler not sur of make will get back on that one, this stuff is great comes in grey or red oxide colour and will fill in any tiny scratches as a really good base for a top coat. My past comes in handy, I'm a chef now but used to work in car repair shops as mechanic and picked up a lot of painting tips. LOL.......
