As I want to use the more accurate resin part in issue 35 I find that it doesn't quite fit............Seems its too big with either a gap between the deck and resin part or a gap between rear hull and resin part. The resin part also is not level with the deck........ Not sure if I should do some sanding down. I don't really want to do this as I might mess it up. Have looked on The Model Week by Week But not sure if I should do this. Any suggestions?

I seem to remember we all had that problem. I lined up the stern piece so it conformed with the curve of the hull and sanded down the top of it until it was flush. Take your time and keep offering it up to check it out.

Hi Ian, can I refer you to my section (Swanrails Modifications and Tips) look under NEW PART 70 to see what I did with my model. As received, the anchor recess has been moulded in the wrong place, hence I changed it to be more accurate. Quite a job, but in my view worth it!!!
