Not really the workstand - really the rigid base upon which the hull will be fixed to prevent warping. I found a fantastic offcut - very cheap but it is only 60 cm. I suppose that this isn't long enough. Can someone let me know what an appropriate length would be. Thanks

Thanks - but is that the length of the rigid base required to prevent the model from warping whilst planking?

the one i used was 47 1/2 by 11 1/2 in this was the minimum i was comfortable with and had room for a piece of window board what you make the sill to stand the wifes flowers on to keep her happy ;D ;D
