Oh, that is NASTY.
I remember getting issue 4 of Bismarck with a horrible little letter inside stating that they had ceased publiction it. I was one unhappy bunny, and got straight onto the phone to give them hell, but they were able to reassure me that all was well.
This is clearly how they go about deciding wheter or not to continue production.
Hope all goes well Chris.

Oh dear. Where as I appreiciate that you are a bit miffed at this partworks getting cancelled. I thought it was a bit greedy of them re-releasing the model again a few years after the last one was finished.

Well you cant say the warning bells were not sounded as noted in this topic, the series has not been seen on sale elswhere in the UK so it seems a little obvious Simply send back your mag covers and ask for a full refund as that is the normal route to take, just seems a shame you have also lost your time invested in the project along with glue etc. My advice is if its not heard of nationally then dont buy it as the series is likely to be a test It might resurface again in the future but if it is anything like the real Titanic then you will be a long time waiting, it seems daft as to why they would want to run with the same model twice even with a few tweeks.

If it was a test, they probably have a formula that tells them how many people in the catchment area on sale actually took it up, as a percentage. This would tell them if a nationwide release would be profitable or not.
It could be that a nationwide release follows if enough people took it up.
this WOULD require them to cancel the present release so it could go out everywhere simultaniously.
Time will tell.

I was wondering why I havent seen it on sale around here, also no adverts on TV to my knowledge. As for the bismark I hope they dont suddenly pull the plug on that too.

Tests are always 4 or 6 issues long whoever the series comes from, so anthing that goes beyond this will stay the course, so no worries about the Bismarck
