here's how the front and rear turrets can be controlled independent from each other with a single ESC.. using a 2ch-switching module offers 2 switch outputs on 1 receiver channel: my radio has only 3 channels (3rd channel is only a switching channe), so i have to switch the rudder off when turning the front or read turrets with the rudder's stick those who own a 4ch radio can forget about the 'rudder switch-off' circuit and connect the turret's ESC to th ch3 and the switch module to ch4 or connect 2 ESC's to channel 3 and 4, no relays or switch module needed - if you don't mind controlling turrets with horizontal and vertical movement of the transmitter's sticks...

this is an ancient switch module i used several years ago
the new ones are much smaller, but offer lots of different functions (memory switch, ...)
found them in a model shop, they're availabe with 0,4 or 4,0 amps output current drain

just found and ordered myself a miniature ESC and a switch module with 4 (!!) outputs. miniature ESC 4 amps, forward-reverse: switch module with 4 outputs on one channel: transmitter's stick right (< 1sec.) = output 1 on/off transmitter's stick left (< 1sec.) = output 2 on/off transmitter's stick right (> 1sec.) = output 3 on (off when stick released) transmitter's stick left (> 1sec.) = output 4 on (off when stick released) will use this module for switching smoke generator (output 1), sound module (output 2) and turret control (output 3/4) will post some pics as soon as it works... markus

here's a pic of turret and smoke generator contol works fine, except for the 'rudder switch-off circuit' which is needed when using a 3ch radio contol found out that i have to switch the outer ecs's off, too otherwise the v-mixer powers the outer motors when turning the turrets...should have known better will post further pics as soon as the wiring is complete...

the wiring so far: the module on ch3 allows the following functions: 1. smoke generator on/off 2. anton+bruno on/off, turning by rudder stick 3. caesar+dora on/off, turning by rudder stick 4. free swichting output (maybe for the secondary arnament ?) switching turrets on automatically switches the outer motors off, so i can turn turrets when ship stands still or while sailing with the inner motor (rudder always in function)
