Many of you may well be aware of Nick Fox's Bismarck plans. www.foxcad.com.au/Drawings/Bismarck.htm Thanks to David for approaching Nick about negotiating a discount for our forum members. I'm now talking to Nick about what he can offer us. He normally sells a set of 1/200 plans for about Aus $ 190 plus postage. The first thing I need to know is how many people would be interested in buying a set of plans. Can you let me know if you are definitely interested or possibly interested, and at what sort of price. Once I get a feel for the numbers I get back to Nick to see what we can work out. Please be honest about your interest as we'll all lose out if I promise a big order and can only muster a small order in the end.

Well personally I wouldn't want to spend much more than £60-75, not sure what Aus $190 translates to though in £?? But I am definetly interested and hope others are as well.

Hi,
I can tell you all that $190 AUD converts to about 92.0 GBP which is a lot of cash for a set of plans, too rich for my liking. The anatomy book and photos etc will do me.
Greg.

Guys, Just to bring this thread back on topic, please can you just advise if you're interested in purchasing a set of Nick Fox's plans. Discussions about the whereabout of the real plans can take place in the historical section of the board.
Thanks

Guys & AFK,
I've deleted all the off topic posts in this thread. Please feel free to discuss the whereabouts of the original plans, plans available on Ebay etc. on other threads. I'm not trying to discourage discussions, but just keeping this thread on topic (for a change !!)
Thanks

Hi Everyone, I've been away the past 3 weeks Jeeping old uranium prospector trails in Utah, come back absolutely GLOWING! Thanks to Mark for following up on the Bismarck plans, though a little sad to see the low response. Like most of you, I would struggle to justify AU$190 for a set, but this is merely Nick Fox's normal price. I'm sure that with a more substantial interest from our group, the price could be much lower. I'm still definitely interested of course and urge those of you who have a serious interest to at least name your limit; my personal limit is £60. Lets hear yours! David

i was thinking more in the region of £40 and mybe let him use the site to advertise his plans service ! that would help us beginers and help him as well . i dont know if that is an option but seems resonable to me although his plans are probably one of the best available anyway he might not need the adverts, anyway i am interested but my problem is can only use postal orders to pay which might cause a problem! but hopfully not .
