i just remembered whay i dint become a sparky .................. i cant solder for **** maybe i go spade conector way , but that dont solve the plug problem , i remember that sanwa used to do plugs u just used pilers with , but i think that sanwa arnt compatible with anything else , any pointers on soldering greatfully receied oh and look out when installing the shafts to the gear box housing its a tighter fit than a snakes arse in a wagon rut

now i got the cryno off my fingers , how i do that u cry , well is easy stop doing brass work and move onto soldering the rc kit , soon you have no more super glue on fingers cause you would have burnt it off.................... typing this with my nose ..............

Just be sure there was not C/A on the keys Griffin......not sure how you would explain why you had a keyboard on your nose at A&E!!!!!

lol so its now nearly 11 pm GMT and ive been working on the drive shaf assemblys and sodering , and my biggest worry has happened i had to cut out the reat of the boat s hull where the shafts come out , this is easy repared as i have loads of strips left , however it did seem very weak that area of the hull , so now i plan to use blue tack to hold the shafts in place and yes they are level if use a rats tail file on the recesses in the formers , whist i rebuild the hull , every thing ive cut out and filled etc will be renfored with wood gause and pva and milliput etc etc (belt braces and string appouach ) .. pics of this typical cock up tomorrow as reallt must refuel myself and catch up on sum things on the idiot box .

yep thanks for that , that was stubing my toe whilst carry ing her outside to take pics, but being the way iam trained dint cry out or drop the boat lol ...... ok so now ive conected everything i have power to every compoant how ever i dont get servo movement not even servo juder when swith on , i thinks the prob is with speed controller as the light is on but cant set the posiitions , ive checked all conections etc etc even tryed reciver battery pack and the servo still no joy any ideas chaps ?

don't get me wrong griffin but i think there's something wrong with the length of the outer shafts. normally the outer props are located approx. 30mm in front of the inner prop (seen from bow)

i did say that the props in that pic were not fixed they moved when turned boat over hence they look weird. as for wiring its in the rc guide that camr with the rc kit
