Wow, great work Markus.
You've got to hand it to Hachette, the level of detail is superb.

Good how they give you several options for painting.....I'll probably go for version 1, that is how she looked after being overpainted at Bergen.

Think I'll go for version 1 as well, but someone at the CMSS meeting last night said he wanted too see it with the swastika on the deck. Not sure if I would be able to sail it if it was like that out here.

I can see the headlines already...
CRISIS ROCKS BOAT MODELLING WORLD!!
It was reported here earlier today the final issue of the Bismarck part works series was released but modellers have taken up arms in protest. Far from being the museum quality replica advertised in its original packaging, the partworks series has turned into a nightmare of missing parts, leaving subscribers with an unfinished replica. This reporter tried contacting Hatchette Magazine for comment, but the office doors and windows had been barricaded and it was obvious they were prepared for a long siege.
One modeller, taking matters into his own hands, armed his unfinished Bismarck with BB gun pellets and working turrets and began firing at the Hatchette building, expecting to break through in a few years time.. This intrepid reporter managed to get an interview with one of the protestors who, despite his obvious handicaps of being 90% blind, and arthritis crippling his fingers from years of attempting to put together microscopic brass parts, was able to get to the bottom of the protest. "I've spent years working on this model, its been a lifetime dream. Now we've got to the end of the series, we find the model is nowhere near complete." When asked what parts were missing this was his reply: "Its the eyebrows above the upper bridge windows. Its a huge mistake - I've seen closeups of the Bismarck, in fact even dreamed being aboard her and there was no mistaking the ridge above the windows. Hatchette haven't put them on and now the model may as well be thrown way - its just not the Bismarck without those eyebrows." One enterprising protestor , sporting a corn pipe and a can of spinach, had started to pile up the spare brass parts he had to try to get into an open second story window. He and a few of his friends were only centimetres of making it before Hatchette staff were able to close the window. This looks like a long siege with no obvious resolution in sight.. More updates to hand as they come in...
