What colour of a primer coat are you using there n the brass

What colour of a primer coat are you using there n the brass Markus? Omg, absolutely nothing said about ....the end of the world as we know it ;D it's a standard grey spray primer from 'OBI', a german hobby/garden market. they're available in dark red, white, grey and dark grey. these 4 colours match the original colours quite well i intend to use only primer plus clear spray paint (matt or semi matt) on the entire ship to keep all those small details on the brass.. markus |

Very nice indeed Markus. Amazing transformation from a coat of paint!
I think I will do the same and use the primers and some matt acrylic varnish. I have used halfords grey but I think its a bit darker than yours.
