What colour of a primer coat are you using there n the brass Markus? Omg, absolutely nothing said about ....the end of the world as we know it ;D

What colour of a primer coat are you using there n the brass Markus? Omg, absolutely nothing said about ....the end of the world as we know it ;D it's a standard grey spray primer from 'OBI', a german hobby/garden market. they're available in dark red, white, grey and dark grey. these 4 colours match the original colours quite well i intend to use only primer plus clear spray paint (matt or semi matt) on the entire ship to keep all those small details on the brass.. markus

Very nice indeed Markus. Amazing transformation from a coat of paint!
I think I will do the same and use the primers and some matt acrylic varnish. I have used halfords grey but I think its a bit darker than yours.
