if your deck is wider (in the middle) than the single planked hull you don't have to center it - most of the decks are a bit too wide in the middle so they have to be narrowed anyway... also i think it's less than a millimeter out of center so don't worry (presume you glued the deck whilst sitting on the hull's frames and the deck fits onto the hull with no problems) remember, we're building a wooden model ship - none of our models will be 100% accurate when finished... markus

The sixth beam looks a bit off centre but everything else looks pretty damned good to me ;D ;D

I decided to redo the decking in the end. Came apart very easily, (almost a bit too easily at times). Amazing what water and a knife can do on a deck stuck down with PVA. Hopefully will be all aligned and looking a lot better once done.

Well Bismarck has her deck again, just needs sanding down and some filler. Photos to come.
