Bluenose course starts 6.30pm my time, so should be able to get on with the planking. Photos coming. Post number 1000, Never thought I would get this far.

LoL Baz. Course finishes somewhere between 9.00pm and 9.30 pm. I then have to catch a bus home & that takes about an hour. Then I have to have dinner, so you get the pics tommorrow. Managed to do some more planking of the hull, 3 each side - had a talk with some of the others about the best way to proceed.

Congrats !! Looks like a nice neat job - have a pat on the back (er, you don't work on a farm do you ;D) Have a bit of Karma If you don't mind me saying, it looks like this one went better than the Bismarck. The better the planking, the easier & quicker it is to sand smooth. If you sand this one down, you'll soon get a good idea of what sort of finish you should be aiming for on the Bismarck (if you see what I mean) Needless to say, the smoother you can get the first planking, the easier the second planking is
