hello, my name is Paul, i'm from Holland (Netherlands) Finally the Dutch can join the build of the Bismarck Have just bought the first edition. It will be my first wooden build, so i've lot to learn, i'm used to building plastic  But with the buildingreports i've seen here, i hope i can prevent failure of the build, it wil be a long 3 years to come Greets Paul PS, i toke the nickname Ladybug (Paulus was already taken), and i just saw a ladybug outsite, hehehe |

Welcome Paul, I'm sure AFKMatrix & Morrigan are dissapointed that they haven't got another female compainion  I'm sure you'll find wood more forgiving than plastic. It's much easier to fix mistakes !! |

I'm sure when you were looking around here you saw Danny, another member from The Netherlands.
You can check by clicking on "Members" at the top of the page, look at his most recent posts, and send him a private message.
And remember what seems to be the most common advice to people starting the Bismarck: wait to get all the parts of the keel before sticking them together, and fix them solidly to a base until much of the planking is done (otherwise the bottom can develop a curve).

Sorry for the late responce lads & girl(s)
I'm waiting for the first 10 editions, before i start building, like some of you adviced
when everything goes well, i'll receive edition 6 to 9 tomorrow
then i have another 4 weeks to wait. i've you don't drive me in ASYLUM, the waiting will
But in de mean time i'll look at the progress of the other board members
(Martin, i must confess i had a sneek preview, because they sent me the editions 2 to 5 twice, and i could not resist)
