Welcome!
If I may give you a tip - spend a good deal of time looking at the 'master builders' work described in this forum. I wish I had known about this forum when I was building the hull, I could have saved myself a lot of heartache (and time!) - there are so many useful tips and info here.
Good luck.

Thanks for the tip. I already studied the week by week build on this site and of course Martin's build. And I will try to enforce the most important rule of all: Do not rush anything

Hello everybody the Bismarck Hachette model has just been released in the Netherlands and I decided to go and build it. It has been my plan to build such a ship for years, and now it is finally going to happen. I am even going to try to build two, by copying all parts as they arrive, which will be easy for all the skeleton and other wooden parts and hard for all the other. My website is www.geleijn.nl/bismarck/Greetings, and success to all other starters !

hi and welcome,
it sounds like an enormous project building the 2 together, but keep in mind there are some discrepencies between the two ships, Tirpitzs was 3 metres longer. And when it comes to armament, there were some discrepencies there as well. But best of luck, Hows Holland these days. Robert
