Going through my storage tin, I seem to have quite a few brass frames (most bits taken out and used) but with odd pieces left in them, such as ladders, vent covers, etc. Is it me, and I have missed something or does everyone else have the same?? It is driving me to distraction that we do not seem to be able to fully complete one section before going to the next, hence I am never sure what bits will pop up belonging to what I thought was done and dusted!!! I would dearly like to install the two small towers on the aft section, but they are neither complete nor do we have instructions on how they are fitted (orientation, etc). Until one of them is in, I cannot complete the side panels! Help!!!!!!!!

Not to mention the missing stairs, vents, guns and gun-shields, various containers including ready-use ammo lockers. Lets face it, nothing is anywhere near finished on the rear superstructure. Very frustrating!
I do belive though, Don, that many of the vent covers and doors etc left in the frets are spares. I think.....

There was mention of some spare parts in one of the issues. Can't remember which one tho.....

Just reviewed some of my parts prior to painting to discover that somehow I had forgotten to fix 4 doors!!! I find it very confusing when one of the frets has parts being used over several later issues, and even worse when a part is used some 10 or so issues later!!! (and I cannot write part numbers on the smaller bits, as I did with the larger ones!) Still wondering how the static modellers are getting on, no sign of their prop/rudders bits yet, its all going to be a last minute scramble by the looks of it.

Swanrail,
I also have the same frustration but to help I place the frets back in the original bag and attach a label with the issue No and fret No. having a look back through the early issues I notice there are still some of the brass parts still not used!
I would also agree with the “last minute scramble” theory. It has been discussed many times already but I just can’t see how they intend to add all the detail in the last 35 issues – should be interesting!

Hi Gordon, I did the same as you with the plastic bags, problem is the fret contain parts too small to label, and there part numbers do not necessary appear at the time of issue. You may well find that 10 issues later, they show the fret again with a small part this time labelled and where to put it, so you need to search through many such frets to find the right one!!

Know what you mean swanrail - the sequence of the parts is a bit of a mystery!
