Well I wanted to start this thread to keep me motivated, and of course to hear everyones expert opions. 12" Jason is helping me to build this baby, I do not know if I am to happy with his help. I think another helper is in order, altough it seems he's helping me glue parts he's actually threatening me Btw how can I resize these pics with forum tags?

Simple answer, You can't. But there is plenty of free graphics programs that can. The size most people seems to use is 800 x 600. Also if you use photobucket you can resize them when you upload them.

When I am sober tomorrow I'll install coppermine and resize them. I hate to be the guy who screws up the layout... ;D

I'm sure you saw that people recommend you fix the keel to a base - keeps it flat and straight until a good deal of the planking in done.

I think Eric sussed out the photo resizer, so I'll keep my comments to your build, wood is highly flammable and near to matches your ship could be seen as kindling, my god man, don't you know it is dangerous to your health, besides, I lost count of the times my missus threatened to throw my Bismarck on the fire and then I took the puppy out for a piddle and a puff. ;D

But Italian cigarettes Well I got some more parts in this weekend, this is what I did with them. I use booze to fix the hull at the moment because I haven't been able to find a decent piece of timber yet: Some more pics: And now we wait for the other parts...

I'm just amazed at the quantity of alcohol left in those bottles, what are you doing this weekend mate. You can use tomato soup and rice pudding, don't know why she keeps buying that stuff, no one eats it. ;D ;D ;D
