I thought i would start a thread here as i have just registered. I spotted the magazine in the shops when it first came out but i was not in a position to start buying it. I am now so i am going to buy up a collection of magazine's from Ebay to start with. I have contacted the publishers and i can start a subscription from the last magazine i will get which will be issue 55 (apparently actually i can start from issue 30). I am still able to back order some magazines to fill the gaps and then i will just have to hunt down the others on Ebay or here.
I have built other models, both plastic models and flying ones so i am not totally new to the world of models and i also have a few radio control cars so i have a bit of experience with them.
I plan to pick up a reasonable model boat from ebay to keep me busy until i finish one myself. There are regularly Flower Class Corvettes come up and i fancy one of them to start me whilst i build my own. I plan to slowly build a all bells and whistles corvette myself using the Great Little Ships detailing sets and fit it with sounds and things to make it working.
I also have plans to put sounds in my Bismark along with some running lights and maybe even a smoke generator.
