Dear Mark
My gun barrels - see above (Aero-naut Modelbau 6240/80 38 cm calibre in aluminium) measure as follows: Overall length 80 mm, bottom section is a straight 32 mm long and 6mm dia, middle section is a tapered 23 mm long and 5.1 to 4.6 mm dia, end section is a tapered 25 mm long and 3.8 to 2.2 mm diam.

well you can take it from me , the main guns supplied in issue 118 are very disappointing,on trying to install them ive found that when inserted into the locating hole the barrels are pointing down,the only way to stop this is to do away with the plastic part which inserts into the hole in the turret and glue to the angle that you want,otherwise the only other way is to throw them in the bin and buy better quality ones

couldn't you lightly heat them and bend them to the correct angle?

had the same problem - i simply cut the tips at the barrels' end off markus

redrilled the holes lower inside the turret and they fit perfect now ,that was easy to solve lol
