Hi Folks,
I hope some of you will know me from my other web sites. I have built the 'Build the Titanic' and 'Build the Red Baron's Fighter Plane' partworks in the past, and run web sites depicting building the models.
I am an enthusiastic and experienced modeller, having built both static scale models and radio control models, including cars, boats, planes and helicopters, over the last 25+ years. I can't remember how old I was when I built my first Airfix kit !!
I hope you'll join me building the Bismarck, and participate in the forum.

Well I have just joined the forum, so I thought I would let you know a little about me.
I have been modeling for 35 approx years, started radio control boats about 10 years ago. I have a HMS cornwall 1/96 scale from sirmar about 95% complete and I have put radio control's into various Tamiya 1/350 scale boats i.e. USS Enterprise and USS new jersey.
I have built a few partworks in the past HMS bounty, Radio control suburu and a monster truck.
I like building all types of models, boats, cars, planes, tanks etc. I like modeling in all types of material, wood, plastic, metal and I got into paper/card modeling about 6 months ago. There are some amazing card models that are free on the internet.

Hello modelling colleagues, I came accross this page through a recommendation from a colleague. I'm located in Germany and we have been buidling the Bismarck for quite some time. The hull (first planking) an first layer of the deck is almost finished, but a lot of alterations etc. have had to be done. If anyone is intersested, we have a very nice Website/Forum with a lot of hints etc. www.die-graue-flotte.deIt's all in German however. I wish all of you good luck and hope that everybody will have a nice modell at the end. I'll keep on looking at this page. The titanic one helped me a lot and it's a shame, that Mark has not found the time to finish his one. Best regards Paul

Hello, My name is Mikey and I'm from Hastings in Sussex. I have pretty much been a builder of plastic kits since I was a kid and when I saw the ad for the build the bismarck series I thought "why not?". While looking online for bismarck info, I happened to come across the build the titanic site, very cool by the way, and as I've always been fasinated by the doomed liner I had a look on Ebay and managed to win an entire set, unopened. So that should help pass a bit of time while I wait for bismarck's parts to arrive. Anyway, I hope everyone is fine and all your models turn out nicely. regards, Mikey
