This indeed is a conundrum, Mark. Not the Enigma encoding device, but still...
Your solution is the best from far, but I am afraid of destroying the detail on top of the radio bulge. With the luck that is mine; if only it were on a flat base.
On the other hand, the second option (trimming by 1mm the right side) which we'd call it in French "à la hussarde," as it's located in a tight corner that isn't highly visible, could be the best of a bad lot. Aarrgghh, I'm torn away, what did I do to the Gods and above all, why it had to be ITALIANS to market this model? Any Chinese model makers would have done better!

I have definitively to stop drinking and get myself a respiratory device if I want to finish this little monster, Eric! Problem #2 has been solved. I've removed every raised detail on the rear of the wheelhouse and working now on a new gangplank. (pictures have been changed to be in the right order of sequence )

Hi Robert
Before this disappears off the most recent 25 I just want to say your work is amazing Not one ounce of glue overspill In fact I can't see any indication of glue anywhere Just a beautifully clean build Congratulations mate
I'm just finishing off the last of the main 4 gun turrets with brass covering Epoxy glue finger marks everywhere. Spent 2 hours trying to clean them up...........partially successful. Will give them a coat of paint to check my ineptness
Also All Blacks managed to scrape a win against the French tonite...........but on home ground And scrape is a understatement Had most of the ball and useless with it Would have liked to see the French clean 'em up That would have rocked the boat.

Hi Baz, To be honest, I have been cheating! ;D The truth is that both platforms with their handholds were taped underneath for taking the picture as some further work was still being requested to get the whole thing correct. Which is now the case. Or is it not? I have spotted one more incoming problem ahead now with the antenna holders. Both boats, Ha-Jü and Lang had triangular supports sitting on starboard and port of the pilothouse rear. Each support could receive a couple of antennas that aren't unfortunately supplied with the kit. Groan... I, who wanted an easy build to relax from the Bissie, I'm being copiously served! So, if I can recommend one thing, Surfsup, is the following one: Thank your bank and mortgage every morning that God makes for not having foolishly, like me bought this kit! (Well, my missus actually did, but I can't blame on her, she didn't know, the poor thing.) My life started to be miserable the day I glued the first bits. It's too much of a time and money consuming. HELP! Talking about money, nobody wants to buy a nice set of four micro servos for the turrets? I'm getting short on cash! ;D Cheers

Hello boys! Here are my PE ammo racks for the MG15s. They are neither from Eduard's nor Lion Roar's but just homemade with the given away printer's offset plate. I must say I'm quite proud with the result! On the other hand, I noticed Mr. Peddinghaus did not reproduce the crossed daggers (Squadron, page 25) for S-188 'KeK' seating on the skull cap next to Karl Eberhardt Karcher's initials in his decals set. So, I contacted him to offer my drawing. Which I believe he accepted with great pleasure and certainly included it since he sent me back three samples lately. Time for a nice cup of tea and get some tan for a change. "Warm" regards from hot Paris.

I'll wander off to the local farm and find a pat - there are plenty of cows round here I've kept the donuts for Eric - he seems to be growing fond of the anchovy flavour

That's what I thought. His face changed color since he started eating them. I first wondered why he was wearing Picts' war paints over his face but then told to myself it was most certainly because he lives north of Adrian's Wall... But on second thought, the mixed silver-blue color reminded me of the pink flamingoes that are indeed pink because of eating shrimps. Has it gone all over your body yet, Eric?
