Just started to have a go at the smaller guns, and when you are applying the brass pieces, you have one piece that wraps around the body of the gun. And then you have the top piece. When I offer them up together theres a gap between the two. And I cant see to close the gap. Any ideas, such as sanding the woooden frame?

i sanded the round-shaped back to make it all fit...
got the best results when gluing in that order (apart from the instructions of course ;D)
1. front top piece 2. side piece 3. rear top piece

Hi Chill! You can try Milliput (Superfine white) if you already have glued the brass pieces together. It works just fine. I would have hoped to see my MAIN turrets that I sent you, finished and ready to fire at the enemy! In a near future, maybe? Best, Robert (now it's my turn to be dating with the kleenex box!)

i found that witha fine file to file down the sides of the wood and offer up the brass for a test fit , once you have made sure theres the right amount of overhang from the wood for the brass bits to join then glue , i will post some pics as soon as ,been a bit slow with the pics just lately , mine turned out not too bad

Nice pics, Popeye...most impessive.
I too am battling with the brass covering on the main turrets, I've got two done and about to start on the third tonight.
So far none of them have been easy, a lot of filing down to fit, and in one or two places, too much filing down!!! Grrrr.....
