I remember somebody (can't remember who) asking me somewhere (can't remember where) about the photo show the wind indicator that I thought I'd seen. Just been through the History and Destiny, and the only photo that is any use at all is the one on page 138, providing you've got very very good eyes. I'm going to scratch build mine. I was thinking along the lines of using the top of the etched part supplied, and using a bead or something similr to make the base, and gluing it onto the yard arm. Still thinking about it and hoping I see something around the house, garage or hobby shop that looks suitable. A fair degree of artistic license will be used

That was me Mark And you must have the eyes of an eagle if you can get anything from page 138..................... ..... I do like the bead idea too, but I'd still like to see a close-up Baz

Didn't even know there was 1 on the Bismarck, heads off to look at page 138!!!

look at page 97 of the Anatomy of the Bismarck, where there is a clear drawing of the wind indicator. There is also a photo on page 26, but not so clear and the arm looks like an arrow head. p.s. note that one side of the yard has a wind strength transmitter and other side a wind direction indicator.
