having previously used xtra color enamels(humbrol&revell as well) for spraying, decided to buy the life color set of kriegsmarine camo ww2 which is satin acrylic paint`s.my question to anyone is can you spray the acrylic over the enamel primer that i have, and don`t want to use the car primer as it seem`s to dry to thick on the small parts?

Tigerace, I used car primer over my entire superstructure (actually wish I hadn't as its a bit thick) and then painted over with tamiya acrylic and it was absolutely fine. Once it dries, its a good surface for the acrylic to stick to.

Looking great Tigerace. Can't wait to see some paint on that thing. Those little hose reels, do they come with any impressions of hoses on them, or do you have some sort of thread to wrap around them?
