This will be my first attempt at a model boat, I have been building R/C model planes and helicopters for years, I have subscribed, so I'll be getting mine by mail order, probably not going to start it until I have a quite a few issues under my belt.
My intention is to R/C it and obviously as I fly R/C I'll be looking to use my existing gear, but am I right in thinking 35Mhz is not allowed for model boats.

Yes Dennis your right, 35mhz is illegal for use in the UK with surface models, you will have to go the 27 or 40Mhz route, 40 is preferable as much less interferance
