Hi Markus, I have been meaning to ask you. What are those squiggly things on the railings sheets.
Regards Borry

if you mean those parts that look like the letter 'P' - don't know either... markus Maybe there's another set of railings with "S" for the starboard side? nm

if you mean those parts that look like the letter 'P' - don't know either... markus Not quite sure either, but I think it could be the first and last stanchions for a section of railing - in the same way as railing for stairs normally ends.

Hi Markus, Hope you are still about. I am nearly at the stage where I will be fitting your superb railings and I wondered about the extra bit of railing on the long ones. Is that excess to requirements or do I leave it on, as it isn't even a half railing. Also I think I have fathomed out what those little P shaved things are. I reckon they are for sticking in the template as you drill the holes for the railings. Regards Borry

posted a diagram on the previous page where to put the 3 shorter railings...
the shorter ones are used near the bow(2x) and stern(1x)
the little 'P' can be used at the ends if you intend to leave a gap (when using the stairs outside the hull)

Marcus - it is now December 09 and I am just getting round to adding the railings - can you please tell me where I can obtain the etched railing that you have used, where do you use the rigid rails and went do you use the 'saggy' ones? Also, what price are these etchings? Loking forward to your reply Happy Xmas WARNER PS: Would it not have been better to leave all painting until the end - I certainly have not painted my hull yet and it will be the last thing I do!

MARCUS - have bought railings from John Haynes, but they are only of 3 rails.
Where do I get the white copper 4-row railings from - any web or email contact would be useful.
Look forward to your reply

Marcus, looking for a set of the quality railings that you have supplied to others, how does one go about obtaining a set, ie cost and postage to New Zealand critter

the railings came from my small local model shop - this shop has no internet platform so i have to order them by phone and pick them up a few days later
for those who like to order a set - just send 55 euro via paypal to my email address which can be found in my profile
