Hi everyone. I thought I'd better follow maritime tradition and ask permission to come aboard before heading below decks. I've built countless plastic kits over the years, mainly good ol Airfix, but this is my first wooden kit and I must say I'm finding it way more satisfying. At the moment I'm working on issue 15 but finding myself getting impatient between deliveries so am on the lookout for another partwork I can be doing in between. Not necesarily another ship, whatever is about. Anyway, glad to be here and I'll see y'all in the galley.

And no whispering in the long grass boys - theres an army officer about!
Don Estelle used to live in my home town of Rochdale until he sadly passed away.

That's right, lovely boys. I will not have talkin' in my jungle!
Don Estelle was brilliant in the series. I always thought he was highly under rated as a singer, too.

I take it nobody's gonna voluteer to take on the role of Gunner Graham, then?
Never the Twain was good but I still think his Sar'nt Major was his best role. I knew one just like him, lol.
