I hadn't received any issues for a good long while when I began to become suspicious. Then today, when I attempted to ring Hachette as I have done on several occasions before, I was informed that the number was no longer in use. Can someone clear this one up for me?
Thanks, Paul

Certainly hope not... I received 4 issues a couple of weeks ago.
I have dropped them an email to ask for an explanation, will let you know if, and when, they respond.

PANIC YE NOT
I phoned Hachette at their head office in London (020 7014 5950) and they said that customer services have changed their (UK) phone number to:
0871 472 4240
I called the number and everything worked OK, they assured me that there are no problems (but did not say why the number had changed)

and direct email from Hachette today,
I believe that there are a few forum members that are querying the 0870 number that they are not able to get through to. All our customer service numbers were migrated to 0845, 0844 or 0871 numbers some time ago and new telephone numbers were provided in the messaging. Could I ask that you please provide the following number for any queries that the forum may have : UK: 0871 472 4240 Eire: 0845 885 4702 - the fact that they cannot get through on the 0870 number is perhaps what is making them nervous?

I've just had a look at www.SayNoto0870.com and the 0871 472 4240 is listed as 020 7014 5750. It may be worth a try rather than paying for the premium rate number.
