Looks really handy!
I bought an electric jigsaw last monday( a tabletop model with a swinging arm on which the blade is mounted), excellent for sawing wood, it used to take 45 minutes to saw a single model airplane wing rib, now it only takes 30 seconds!

I wonder if I am the only one who remembers the GEM FRETWORK treadle saw, I had one for Christmas about 1946, but they were available for many years after that, wonder what happened to it? wish I had it now!!!!!!!

I recently refurbished one for my son-in -law's father. Will take a photo and post it. Photos as promised, The drive belt was removed and the blade covered to childproof against my grandson (little (bug*er!) Cor!!!!!! That takes me back a few years, I think that it cost about 10 quid, nearly two weeks pay for my father in those days, and he was a foreman fitter in Swansea Vale Smelting works.
