WARNING When I recently received part 114 (in the UK we are up to 115) it required me to find brass parts left on the frames going back to issues 47 to 62. Fortunately, having been trained in management and admin at the Naval Staff College and being somewhat of a control freak, I had kept all the brass frames in their plastic bags, all numbered with the issue number, and stored in number order (even the fully used ones, as the frame material might come in handy if I needed to fabricate a brass part or make a replacement for a lost part). Let this be be a warning to others if they have either discarded, junked or misplaced the old brass frames !! - find them and keep them carefully for future use (unless its too late !!!!)

Yep, I kept every blessed one, even the ones that had nothing left in them!
I have NO idea why these parts could'nt be put on back when we got them, very odd!

I'll agree with that - both the thoughts and the forward planning. However, I did throw away the empty frets, once I'd been over them with an electron microscope just to make sure there wasn't a tiny bit hiding in the corner.

Some of them seem to have spares on them.....at least I am assuming they are spares. Porthole covers, doors etc.
Also I have used some of the empty frets as cut-offs shaped and glued onto my Bissie.
