Hi All!
I've Bulit a real life 1954 Plymouth Street Rod, numerous plastic model car kits but never atempted anything modeled in wood.
Been Fasinated with the Bismarck even since i saw the movie "Sink The Bismarck" way back when, so when i saw this model advertised on TV here in Oz I knew I just Had to have it!
So here I am, subscribed and impatiently awaiting the next few issues to arrive at my door, Staring at the completed bits from issue 1 just isn't helping LOL
Now that I've had a look at some sites and a read through this forum I hope I'm not in over my head!!!
cheers Pete

Hi Pete, wellcome! Don't worry about the build, one step at a time and all questions can be answered here! I like all these Aussies joining, I spent a very happy year backpacking round Oz in my dim and distant youth. Great country, great people!

Thanx Guys,
I'm looking forward to it, patience I have, it took me 20 years on and off to put my hotrod together, but was well worth the time and effort. Hoping this bulid will be equally as rewarding!

Glad you joined us Pete. Was that a real hot rod ? I built a kit car a few years ago. Have a look at www.wakelin.org/tiger if you're interested.

Unfortunately I had to sell it last year - I got posted to Asia with work and am currently living in South Korea. My driving is limited to great frustration on Korean roads (slow and no bends ) driving a Hyundai Coupe. Not a bad drive, but they ony get 160 horses out of a 2.7L V6. It should be a lot faster than it is.
