Hi to everyone, No doubt that you've all noticed the surge in membership coming form down-under well I hope theres room for one more. Have been following the forum for a few weeks now and I just received the first issue of the Bis and decided it was time to join up. Have been building models for a few years now and the idea of building a biggy really appeals so here I am. This is my second part issue model the first being the Red Baron's Fokker. With 2 other projects on the go (1 kit & 1 scratch) my progress will be slow but steady, hopefully.
Looking forward to joining in with all you other Bissy builders.
Regards Greg.

Welcome Greg, the more the merrier! Our German friends have just about finished the first year of build, and in the UK we are now at the 6 months mark, so there is plenty of comments for you to read if things do not appear very clear.

Hi Greg
I have been on the forums for a while now and the members here are great from learning off and we also have a few board comedians I wont mention names though but they know who they are.
I started using numbering and cutting out the parts of issue one tonight to dry fit them to see how they look together and I must say I am itching for the next issue but sadly have to wait for issue 3 to come out too. (first delivery contains issue 2 and 3).
Must say I am impressed with the parts so far.
Welcome again cant wait til we get underway.
Trev

Hi all Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Its good to know that theres so many other modellers who are willing to share their experiences. In reply to SB who wrote..... "Have any any specific web build forums regarding this model been set up in Australia?" As far as I am aware theres no Aussie forums for the Bismarck build. So the Croc's will just have to keep chasing the tourists. Trev, your right about there no being much building to do until you've received a few more issues. Personally I'm going to wait until I have at least 4 or 5 issues before I even open the packs. I'm getting my issues on a weekly basis from the local newsagent. I found this to be a good way of doing it for the Fokker build and the newsagent chases any missing issues which saved me a few hassles. There was a few bad experiences with those who subscribed to the Fokker build but if thats the way your getting the Bismarck issues then I sincerely hope it works out for you, I'm sure it will. Thanks again. Regards Greg.
