Welcome Juan.
I'm glad you have taken the opportunity to be a member here.
Good as the Bismarck-class-forum is, this forum is all about hands on. No matter what question you may have, I am sure there will be someone here who can help you - they have all (well, almost all ;D ) been through the same build as the one you are now starting.
I registered as a member here when I contemplated starting the Bismarck kit (back in 2007 when it was released in Australia), but in the end I decided to continue with my model of Richelieu - and I have been stuck in this forum ever since. They are all a great bunch of people.
I am sure you will end up with a brilliant model.

Hi Juan, Welcome to the forum. The guys and gals here are a great bunch of friendly and helpful people, so just ask away when you have a problem. We're not pround - no question is too dumb. (The only dummy is the person who didn't ask the question ) A word of warning tho - this forum is known for its great sense of humour. Some of our members have a rapier wit, so don't take offence at any remarks, they are all meant in good humour. Can't think of 10 do's and don't's, but do use a waterproof glue, don't give up, and don't be surprised if people start a campaign if there is a burnt match stick in one of your photos !! Enjoy the forum, and we look forward to seeing how your build goes.

Welcome to the merry lads club Juan!
You'll find great people on the forum ready to put you back on the right tracks in case of doubts. We ALL have questions on how to carry on our built here, except Markus who brilliantly took the exam lately.
Just a question: There's a crazy penguin using sugar cubes as units of scale around here. I do not have to worry about you being related to him, do I?
And as Mark said it, we look forward to seeing your posts!

thank You all guys for your kinds responses!,
I'm sure I will Keep you busy with my questions:
What shall I do install 3 motors? I preffer to use the original configuration of the real ship, but I have read that this would affect it's performance, also I want to use the scaled rudders and props, How will this affect the model navigation? Is it possible to use light on the serachlights and superstructure?, had any of you allready tryied it out?. What about moving turrets did they use separate motors?, are they controlled by RC?. Is it possible to install a smoke generator like in scale locomotives?.
Just thoose to begin with! ;D

Hi Juan, Markus is the one to see when it comes to radio control. Have a look at his r/c section. My Bismarck has been modified for 3 motor operation, you can't miss my build diary, it's the longest one on the forum. - LoL ;D buildthebismark.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=markus

thank You all guys for your kinds responses!, I'm What about moving turrets did they use separate motors?, are they controlled by RC?. Is it possible to install a smoke generator like in scale locomotives?. Just thoose to begin with! ;D Juan Yes the turrets are moved by seperate motors, I'm doing the four main turrets and the six smaller ones. Yes you can install smoke generators - such as mine for example! And I am also experimenting with the nav lights.
