Got this today as soon as the newsagent opened and in my opinion it looks good, 1st issue contains some bulkheads propellers bombs and a 17min DVD, I'm a bit biased being a plane fanatic so definitely going to subscribe to this. Mind you I'm only up to part 13 of the Bismarck so think it will be a while before I start it.

I'll have a go at building it, if it comes down under.

Will go to town first thing in the morning to get issue 1 and then dicide to subscribe or not most likely will.
Looking at the website you get quite a lot of goodies to subscribe though them instead of the newsagents or WH Smiths.

Southend nick - please dont subscribe - as within a matter of weeks the service will be terrible. i recall this with the Bismarck!
Anyhow went to me local newsagents and the girls behind the counter handedme the issue 1.
Wil post piccies soon. But looks good got some strange plastic flexi stringers!
I think I will only cover half of the Lanc in its skina nd leave all the delicate ribbing on show.
I will not be making any mods to this plane.

Found it in my local paper shop this morning. Still working on this Bismarck. It certainly looked like a static model to me. The frame looked like a kind of plastic?

The frame is wood -with plastic stringers to get the curvature.

I got a copy today. Here's a pic of the parts. It looks very good. Definitely static only, it couldn't be made to fly. The plastic stringers seem to be an unusual choice of material, but will give a nice clean finish after it's painted. No furry edges, or tedious sanding of miles of thin wooden strips ! Just before anybody asks, yes, being the sucker that I am, I will be doing a web site, and I'll try to keep it up to date (no promises). Hands up who thought I might not Attachments:
