Sounds like a good idea. Wonder if a geared motor drive would work ?
I was thinking of maybe a toothed belt, less noise, audio and electrical.

Good point about the electrical noise. A plastic chain might also work well, and is easy to adjust for length.

I was also thinking about gun elevation, and the possibility of rotating the turrets on a tube, and having a push rod up the middle, so the servo can be located in the hull, rather than in the turret.
All just thoughts at the moment. Don't really want to do anything until I've seen the turret construction.
