FORUM, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!I have had some email correspondence with JC and tried some avenues to raise the money for his Bissy. For reasons I have already explained to JC, I am coming up €160 short (plus probably some packing costs for a safe Bissy journey). If not for 2 factors, I would have been able to buy his Bissy outright at his reserved price: 1. His Bissy issues are obviously 15% more expensive than in Australia (tax difference?) 2. JC has already bought r/c and motors worth €195 So what can we do to help him For obvious reasons we cannot even think of questioning his price, so here are some suggestions: 1. If anyone else is interested in buying his Bissy, please send me a PM and I'll reply with his price. This would probably also save the transport costs. (No reason to make his price public as long as there is a chance of him selling via his advertising) 2. If someone is thinking of buying r/c and motors, why not buy JC's at a good discount for say €100, which would make good inroads into the deficit 3. Can we start a kitty to raise the remaining money? Any surplus would be a good bonus for JC. Whatever we do, trying to avoid his Bissy ending up on ebay, we have to act quickly for a good course. JC has got medical bills to pay, so we must try to avoid adding extra stress. These were my ideas. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I agree poul and I feel a lot of members here, think the same way. I'll put some money in, I'm already buying some of his model railway gear. Commence "Operation Bismarck" to keep Jc's Bissie in the family.

Fully agree with whats been said, as if it ends up on Ebay it may not get the amount of cash it s worth.

Hi Guys,
It looks like there is a genuine interest in helping out. Please do not look at this as helping me, but helping JC.
I would suggest that we start a JC kitty and let our "daddy", Mark, be the administrator - if he has no objections to this.
Should it bring in less money than needed for me to buy the Bissy, then I think the money should still go to JC (in that case I'll chip in as well, of course). If it brings more than needed, then it would be a nice bonus to JC.
Mark, please let us hear what you think.

Put me in for 10 quid if anyone wants to start a kitty. Might increase it if it gets off the ground.

...already asked him about his rc gear as I thought he'd got his from herr markus, buyt he got the Hachette gear, still want the Markus set up but have not built since last spring, other projects and daughter home from Uni. Daughter now gone so full steam ahead. If JC's gear is somewaht akin, maybe but I'd prefer apying Markus and getting quality...still in to assist JC however we plan.
