have just started my striped camo on version 3,had to take a few headache tablets but its coming along ok,anyone who is also going to do this be aware that the angles for the stripes are all different as i found out to my cost, but once you make some templates up it turns out not to bad ,i am hand painting mine on as too many parts to go round using tapes

plenty of tips , lol for a start dont use gloss paint ,use the hachette plan as a guide not as a template its slightly out, also the stripes are at diff angles to the hull and each is a diff angle on the superstructure, they may look the same but they are not,i also used the hachette drawing to get the right angles for them, once the laser line is on i used a felt marker to roughly draw a line (pencil no good),i then masked as much as i could and did the black first, you gotta be patient and wait for the first stripe to dry lol once painted with the masking tape i then spent a few hours with a tiny brush checking the lines,,will update pics later i hope

only thing i,m not happy with is the fact that if close up then the painting looks a tad crap,so will be looking into that
