Hello. Can someone tell me how to get a neat demarcation line between the black waterline paint & the gray paint of the small boat hulls? I tried with masking tape pushed to the hull tightly but when I removed the tape the black paint run into the gray of the hull in various places

Ah do you mean is seeped/leeched under the masking tape?
Are you using some of that fine blue tape that graphic poeple use for spraying cars?

Another tip (albeit a little late) is after putting down your masking tape paint on a coat of clear matt varnish first. This tends to do all the seeping and also then seals the tape joint. Even if the varnish does seep through it is clear and wont ruin your paintjob!

Any model shop can supply coloured decals which come in various widths. Just place a section on the hull to mark the line and paint up to it. Perfect sharp line every time. I will be using this method on main hull.
