Well another year is come and gone and as I look back over the year at the builds and friendships I have made, (never thinking when I bought the 1st issue) that I would end up administrator on an internet forum, running my own internet forum, or even posting photos of things I have built on the internet. Well the Bismarck 1/200 scale has done all this and more. I am glad I took up the challenge for the build and then found my way here, lots of you have helped me through the good as well as the bad. You all know, who you are and I thank you all. So, long live the "Build the Bismarck and Other Models or Partworks forum", all those that sail aboard her and heres to the future of this great family!!!

Spot on Skyfire, and a Very Happy New Year to one and all, especially to jcmanu lets hope things pick up for him in a big way. It is now some 3 years since I started my model, the longest build that i have ever done! Without the forum, I guess that the build would have been a lot harder, and may have even stopped. It is seeing you others getting on with it and making suiperlative models that makes me want to do the same! Also many thanks to Mark for all his hard work in keeping the forum running "sweetly", during which he has had to relocate with his family right across the world, and still make many models as well as Bissie and keep a paternal eye on all of us! Finally, mention must be made of Achtung with his Bissie awards, his contribution to the site must be unique and much appreciated I am sure. Welcome to 2010 and all it brings!!!(perhaps some more finished Bismarcks?)

Well said Sky and Don, I get a lot of pleasure running this and the Lancaster forum, as well as fun from making the models themselves. Having the best forum on the web (probably) is all down to you guys.
Happy New Year everybody. I hope it's a good one for you all.
