Thats cool mate .....it's always good to find someone else who loves subs. Back in 1973 I got hold of paper plans for a balsa sandwich version of U-boat but due to work commitments never got too far into it, and then broke up with girlfreind and seperated and lost it somewhere and so when I went to get this sub it was a toss up of which one but because i had worked with the people in Hawaii who show THE BOWFIN at Pearl and I have crawl all over the sub in San Francisco I decide I wanted to get the GATO and the guy in USA has the dive kit for it. fully developed. Good boat mate. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,( not ship but boat) Chat to you soon ROBBIE

Hi Rob I always had a thing about subs, somthing mysterious about them. I built the Uboat to have a break from the Bismarck, next job on it is weathering that will take some time. I would like to build a Gato but my misses would hit the wall, she recons Ive got to many models already, but you never know whats around the corner
