Hi everyone im up to issue 43 now and have got a problem with part 65 which sits on the resin bow parts. Ive beveled the recesses like it says but when i put it in place it sits so the top surface is 1-2mm above the rest of the decking, is this correct?. Looking at the photos in the mag it should be plush with the whole decking. I suppose i could sand it flush after glueing it in place.
Oh 1 further question all the hull planking is done so should i now be sanding and filling that ready for painting or does that step come later?
Thanks for the help.

Hi frogy
The easiest solution to your bow decking problem would be to sand it down to size.
If all your planking is finished then now would be a good time to sand, sand and even more sand! Spend some time getting your hull sanded and filled because the moment you put a coat of paint on you will see all the imperfections. It is also easier to do it now before you start adding any bits to it.
