Under general I asked the question about where is all the women model builders? I mentioned that I have a lady friend that helps me with my models. To put my money where my mouth is, see the picture about my Lancaster model that my friend build totally on her own. I could not have done it any better myself. Who said women cannot also be excellent builders. This is also her first time that she does anything like this. Hooray for the women model builders out there! P.S. She is in her early 40's. (I will probably be a dead man if she read that I gave her age group away...) Attachments:

That's a very fine job indeed. This forum prides itself on welcoming everybody, regardless of sex, race, religion, political views, hair colour, etc. In fact the only thing we take exception to is unconstructive moaners. Particularly those who think No More Nails is a good glue for planking........

Hey we do exist you know hehe. I lost about a year on my bissy build but I am now back building and as far as I know I am the only female bissy builder here, would like to be proved wrong on that though!!! I also have a ton of other models sitting waiting to be built so don't think I'll be finished for a good few years yet, especially as I have signed onto the DeAgostini Yamato build Hope all you boys are well

Other women - not many - joined the forum. Don't know if any others are active, AFK.

There is, (or was) 1 from New Zealand called Morrigan. Think she comes in every now and then.

Particularly those who think No More Nails is a good glue for planking........ Aaaaaaaaaaah Hah .......... Remind me not to mention I used 'No More Nails' for the brass bits too ..... Thought it might save on 'pop rivets' ....... And Mark I thought 'No more Nails' was an essential part of the "how to survive in the big wide world" toolkit all mums packed for their daughter's when they first left home .........
