I was there for a couple of days, but it was about 40 years ago. I seem to remember it was hot and sandy, with camels, snakes and a market.
PS. Is Chill having a "most unhelpful reply of the year" award next year ?

It depends on where you're going to, Robert. North: Nabeul, Hammamet, Carthage? Center: Sousse, Sfax, Monastir? Or South: Djerba? I would recommend you either Hammamet or Monastir. Hammamet is close to Nabeul and as says Mark, has a camel market every week... Where local people will be more than happy to trade your wife for several of these animals. Don't bargain under two camels, four sheeps and an oil lamp.

I'd let the wife go for an oil well and 5 camels ;D. Were going to Port El Kanntaoui near Sousse...looks good and warm, so if the summer here is on its way out, a week in the sun will be the ticket.

...change of plan, she found out about the camel arrangement and the travel agent raise the price £100 since Saturday, so we booked a week on the east side of Ibiza, apparently the quiet side, Es Cana. Adios....

Just dont turn right at San Antonio- other wise its whistles. glowsticks and base ball caps on backwards!
And dont even start on the foam parties in Ibiza - I lost a dancing girl for two weeks in the foam at Manumission....

Not quite as quiet as you expected then. Glad you had a good time. Now you can get back to some serious modelling and wolf walking

Walked the wolf and now as you say, to get back to some serious modelling, but if the weather holds sailing is fun as well, my models of course.
