Use PVA for wood to wood joints. Araldite, preferably slow setting, for the resin to wood joints

Ah thankyou, I was thinking would the glue im using be strong enough on the wood so the planks woud adhere to the hull and still take the weight of the resin piece.

Not sure what you mean sws35, If you follow the Hachette insructions it will be fully explanied as you proceed mike

I didn't use those bits. Have a look at my web site to see how I planked that area. I haven't finished the bow yet (no sarcky comments please ) but I will do it inthe same way I did the stern.
