Hi, I just have 2 quick questions. 1. I have attached the resin part with the anchor points at the front, this has gone fine. But I have noticed that it is flush with my 1st lot of planking so am wondering when I attach the next lot of planking with the port holes will i have to sand down the ends to be flush with the resin part. Have attached a pic to try and explain. 2. I still have to attach the resin bow part and just wanted to know if I have to sand back the ends of the planking so they are flush with the front rib. Here is a pic to show what i mean.

Yes, they need to be flush with the frame so you can attach the large bow resin part. (your part 2). Ref. your part 1, would recommend that you do not sand the resin part, but wait until the porthole strip is fitted, and then fill to the deck level with wood filler to make a smoothe transition all along the hull. The hull should have a nice gentle curve, except where is cuts in for the topside above the armour plating.
