Ok I am at issue 37 and have just fitted the 4 planks. I was just wondering who scored there part 194, as I am thinking it will probably be better to steam it?
Also can someone take a close up shot of there keel as it says to sand it so that it has a triangular appearance. The images aren't wonderful in the Issue so was wondering if one of you could post a nice clear picture of it?

I found it quite easy to score as per the instructions. Steaming might be a problem due to small size and the fact its ply so might delaminate. Ref the shape of the bilge keel, if you study the Bismarck Anatomy book, page 51, you will see that it is supposed to be a very sharp triangle. For H & S reasons, mine is rounded, as I do not fancy a 7kg weight forcing the keels into my hands when lifting.

Thanks for that link Mark. Well if I had something that I could tap plastic with I might try the plastic keel. Might message Popeye and have a chat with him about it.
Also was a right pain in the a** trying to fit the template piece for the bilge. Was way to thick for my modelling pins so resorted to drawing pins and sellotape. So gonna have to use a bit of filler on the holes. When I come to doing the otherside its gonna be sellotape all the way!!
