Cheers!
It's barely noticeable: when I had it flat on a board it wasn't noticeable at all. But on running my finger over it it's not quite 100% flush as the others are: less than half a millimetre, but I was a little worried. I guess when it's planked it won't be noticeable at all.
Thanks again!

I've just done issue 8 as well, and my rib's are a nice tight fit. I am not glueing the ribs until I have the side pieces though.
The shaped piece looks like a servo tray for the rudders as viking has said.

is that shield thing on the back of the stern supposed to reach the bottom of the hull becuse mines short?? Do you mean part 41 ? I'd make it flush with the top. Don't worry if it's a little out at the bottom - By the time you've sanded the frame and planked it, it should be fine.

I wouldn't do anything with them just yet. Wait until you have finished planking the hull. There is a chance that the hull will change shape slightly when the planks are fitted. The planks place quite a stress on the frame, which is also why you should plank evenly, one plank one side, one the other.
Once the planking is finished then you can sand the deck supports as necessary. It's probably worth waiting until you have the decking material before you do this.
