Hello Peeps Can any1 tell the best way and wot to use to sand down the resin parts so it wont leave scratches, I have bits of glue on the pieces and i also need to sand them down a bit to be flush with the planking. cheers paul

Hi Paul, can you get a razor sharp blade onto the glue? Par it down carefully with the blade, then use a little coarse paper, then finish off with fine paper to smooth it.
I use stanley craft knives (NOT traditional stanley knives), they come in packs of three and are yellow, I bought them in homebase. They are extremly sharp and a little flexable.

Get a selection of grade of wet-n-dry from a car body repair place (like Halfords !!) I start with 80 grit for initial sanding, then go down to about 200 grit to bring it finally to shape and the scratches are not too deep. Then move on to 400 & 600 grit to give a good finish. You can go finer if you want an even better finish. The resin seem a bit of a git to sand, and do it outside as the dust is not very good for you.

Cheers Mark Ill use them knifes Eric says and then the wet & dry stuff like you say. I was thinking that sandpaper mite not be that good cheers again,gona try sanding them tonight
