I know most of us are waiting for the replacement part in iss. 35 but I just want to clear something up before then.....
In assembley guide part 46, step 10 it says
"Check also that between the planking and part 70 there is a clearance of approximately 1mm as indicated by the yellow arrow" and the picture clearly shows the gap. But then in step 12, directly below, it says, "Glue part 70 to the last rib and to the underside of the underside spacer part 66" and the picture clearly shows NO 1mm gap. So which is it suposed to be? A gap or no gap?
Just to be clear, this is not in reference to the 1 mil gap around the edge of part 70 to allow for the second planking layer but the interface between the flat surface of part 70 and the last rib.

Yes, I noticed that one too, these destructions can be REALLY confusing sometimes. I took it that when you glue it in place properly, there would be NO gap, but I have been known to be wrong, every minute or two....!!

Nemesis and Eric,
Gentlemen, (Crickey whats wrong with me, I'm being polite) me finks the 1mm clearance actually means around part 70 so that the 2nd planking comes flush with it. And yes Nem, there will not be a gap between part 70 and the last rib. Dont expect me to remain serious for long though!! ;D ;D ;D
Regards Napoleon

Okies, thanks for that, Napoleon. Again, just have your lawyer wife ready with applications to surpress evidence in the event that you find yourself in a law suit. Not that I would DREAM of putting you through such a hideous ordeal, o'course.

Any thought if the same problem will be in Australia with replacement parts needed

Well commons sense would dictate they would make the alteration part of the original issue with the Australian run but since when did common sense come into business practice?

if i had the 1mm gap around this part the ends of the planking would be nigh on invisable. it'll go back to the frame! Any ideas?
